Who are you in Christ? This is from my female perspective, if you are male, just change the she to a he.

Last nite at church, [9-11-05], during our evening class, the subject came up about WHO we are in Christ. If we KNOW who we are in Christ, then the enemy cannot harm us.

One of the guys in the class, Daniel R. gave this illustration:
'YOU are God's daughter. If someone came and tried to bully my daughter, I wouldn't let them. If she got in a fight, I would take her aside and discipline her, but no one would bully her. Even if SHE picked the fight, she would disciplined, but her enemy would not win. I would see to that! That's because she's MY DAUGHTER. YOU are God's daughter! And He won't allow the enemy to win over you. The Enemy NEVER wins.

The fight between God and Satan is over. God won. This fight is between God and man. The enemy's JOB is to steal, kill and destroy. This fight now is for our souls. Since I AM GOD'S DAUGHTER, the battle has been fought and GOD WON. I no LONGER belong to myself, because when I accepted Christ, the payment had been made. I was BOUGHT by the BLOOD of the Lamb. Everyone knows there isn't much in life that is FREE. Our LIVES, our SOULS had to be BOUGHT. But, it could ONLY be bought by Jesus Christ. Not anyone else. It was a HIGH price Jesus paid on the cross. AND Jesus did it WILLINGLY. ALL the sins of ME and e-v-e-r-y single person in the world, EVERYONE'S sins, were put on Christ, by God, on the cross. So that WHOEVER believes in Jesus and what he did on the cross, would be saved.

That was a price that was very, very costly. Annnd, since I have been BOUGHT by the blood of Jesus, I am no longer MY OWN. 1 Cor. 6.20 says, 'you were bought with a price, therefore honor God with your body'.
YOU are his daughter, his son. If you believe that he died on the cross for you. If you believe he is the son of man and the son of God. That he died on the cross for YOU, rose again on the 3rd day and LIVES NOW! It's TOO exciting for me. I want to shout it. I do, here at home. lol

You know how some stores and such have ads that say, 'buy this and you will get this, and this and this for FREE'?
Well, GOD doesn't work like that!!! HE paid the price. Salvation, being saved from our sins so we don't have to spend eternity in hell, is FREE. When you recognize that you have done/and do wrong things, that you have lied, stolen, broken ANY of the 10 commandments, then you recognize you are a sinner. You ask Jesus to forgive you for your sins, and ask God to live in your heart. IT"S FREE!!!!!

Being saved from yourself and your sins, so you can live eternity in heaven, is free. God's love is free. His forgiveness is free. His peace is free. Forgiveness is free.

Want something FREE? Salvation is FREE. Jesus paid the price, so YOU could be FREE and have it for FREE! God saved us from himself, for himself. And we are HIS children. We BELONG to him!! There ain't NO enemy that's gonna win, because Jesus already did!
