WOW, last nite, 9-21-04 I had my first one-on-one session with the Rapha Healing and Deliverance team at our church. If you read the Breaking Curses page you will see the corporate prayer setting we were in back in June 2004. THAT was an eye-opener. I was the only one in the class crying! I have a lot of stuff in my past, but I had NO IDEA how MUCH stuff! I realized this morning HOW He is greater in me, than he that is in the world. I realized how demons attach themselves to things in our past and can live in us even though we are in Christ, and I realized how demons must come out when commanded by those in authority. One of the greatest things the enemy is doing is blinding God's people to how this works and the understanding. For those with deep wounds in their past, it's not always just a case of 'let go and let God', or 'release your woundings and let God heal you'. We must be DELIVERED of the wounds, or the attachments we have allowed in our lives. When we play with or actively engage in ouiji boards; witchcraft of any kind; sex outside of marriage [adultery] or having sex without the marriage covering [fornication]; Freemasons, Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, all KINDS of things, we open the doors in those areas for demons to attach themselves to us. When we are born again, God's GRACE covers all and dark cannot live with light. So no Christian is possessed of satan. However, our flesh and devils can and do hang on to those areas that are not brought to the light of Jesus. Different people call them different things, but when we are wounded, we usually cover it up and learn to deal with the hurt. It's like when you get a sliver or something in your hand or foot. The tissue will grow over and around it, forming a shield. Sometimes, it takes YEARS for that sliver to come out. [or shrapnel, etc] The same is true of us. When our soul [mind, will and emotions] is hurt, we usually cover it up and go on. But that little girl or little boy is STILL hurt. Oh gosh, I have discovered that age has NOTHING to do with anything! I am older, but I still have that little girl inside me. I am wiser, but sometimes that younger me, isn't. It's all a matter of being internally healed and delivered by Christ Jesus. Especially when we are children, when we don't know how to forgive, when we don't know how to stand up for ourselves, when we are so small we can't even speak. Atrocities happen to kids. Hurts, wounds. GOD'S grace is all encompassing and He gives it freely and willingly and abundantly! God's grace keeps us and keeps the enemy down, until such time as we have a trigger that sets us off, as in anger, or we go back to something and that opens up, 'another can of worms'.
