INNER HEALING ~ HOW IT WORKS
Most people have heard that we are shaped by what we have learned as we have grown into adulthood. This is true. All the hurts, wounds and fears are inside us still, if they have not been healed. I believe 97% of families are dysfunctional in some way. It's uncommon to NOT come from a dysfunctional family! NO ONE is perfect. It doesn't matter if you come from a Christian home or not. Everyone has anger, or some other imperfection. When we see ourselves, we tend to look at ourselves as narrow individuals, like a tunnel in 'tunnel vision'. However, we are not just the adult me and the girlish [or boyish] me. We are made up of all the people we have been as we have grown. We are more in a round shape to accommodate all the little ones inside us. Because we are mostly made up of little ones. Since no one was born as an adult, we all have little ones inside us. Often, these little ones have been wounded. They have been hurt through words or actions of others. Some are scared, abused, molested, or wounded in a myriad of ways. When these things happen, we experience fear, hurt, anger, distrust, resentment, feeling dirty, detachment, all sorts of emotions. Sometimes we act out, sometimes we withdraw. Often demons attach themselves to us through actions done to us by others. Often, as we grow, we do what WE think is experimenting. We 'play' with ouiji boards, astrology, tarot cards, casting spells, white 'magic' or black 'magic'. We may get into homosexuality, mind control games, sexual 'games', and/or into cults or 'religions' that are anti-Christ. When we do this, we open ourselves up to demons attaching themselves to us in those areas. Many times, we have demons [devils] in us because of generational curses put on us by our ancestors. MOST of the time we don't know this! This type is there at birth. So when something happens to me [or you] at 6 months, or 1 year old, and 2 years old, and 3 years old, each time the awareness I have of whatever it is, is dealt with in the only way that age knows how to deal with it. Usually it's with burial. We so fear what is happening, because of physical pain or emotional pain, fear, etc., we bury it because we don't know how to handle it. And evil spirits, whether fear, anger, etc, usually attach themselves to those areas of our lives. When something happens to us at different ages, all those ages are inside us with all these wounds. I am a product of ALL my years of life and since most deep wounds come as we are growing up, I have all these little people inside me. Each one needs to be healed. Each one needs to confront whatever the pain is, bring it up and face it and go through, once again, the pain of whatever it was. We must first forgive the person that caused that pain/fear/anger, then ask Jesus to come in to that area, to come into our hearts, and sometimes we have to forgive God too! Almost always this requires a Holy Spirit facilitator. Mostly because most of us: 1. Don't know what the problem is 2. Don't know how to get down to the problem 3. Can't speak with authority to demons when they arise 4. Don't know when to allow demons out and when not too 5. Don't know how to speak lovingly to ourselves to help ourselves heal 6. Don't know the difference between our human selves and the demonic 7. And don't know which areas to address, or when to do so 8. In essence, we can't deal in the third person Ah, I heard you wonder about the demonic huh? I did too. I asked the facilitator I was with how can I be a Christian and still have these demons? She said 'because God's grace covers it all'. I've learned just how true it is, that God truly DOES look on the heart. God REALLY is an AWESOME God. When I go through things as a little girl, I have to ask Jesus into my heart, because he wasn't the ruler of that age. He has been the ruler of me since whatever age I accepted him, and when we DO accept him and ask him to live in our hearts, he is SO gracious, he covers us with his grace, until we are healed. Completely. In him and through him. In every area of our lives, in every age. But you can't just say, 'at five, I ask you into my heart Jesus'. No, you have to go to that point of pain, you have to bring it up, you have to confront it, say what it is/was, and then the Holy Spirit facilitators guide you deeper if you need to go deeper, have you confront the abuser [if it was abuse], forgive, and ask Jesus into your heart. And, if necessary, they cast out demons that have attached themselves to those areas of our lives. I have discovered. GOD is more POWERFUL than I ever knew. I discovered demons DO Have to flee and I have discovered satan wants us all to think he has all ALL THIS POWER, when he DOES NOT.  Back |
