What or Who gives me my drive and skills in making healing salves? Who gave me the ingredients, in what amounts, to make a salve that is now used to fade many scars & stretch marks?? Who made sure that my secret wounds were healed? Jesus Christ.

I would like to tell you about what has happened in MY life. Raised a Catholic, I was taught that God was some big ogre in the sky who would smash my fingers as I was holding on for dear life. Throughout my teenage years, I was either wanting to kill myself, or figuring out ways to do it that wouldn't result in just maiming myself, but in actual killing. Of course I didn't know it then, but I really wanted someone to love me and SHOW it. In the military in Germany, someone gave me a book about Christ. I read it, and it made sense to me, but there was no follow up.

Let me tell you, I was such a *hard* person. Cussing all the time, I had hardened my heart against anyone who could hurt me anymore.
I accepted the Lord one night, in bed and felt *nothing*! But the following week, it felt like I was walking on air, 9 feet up. It was unreal, I'd never felt that before! Since that time, I have been healed of many emotional hurts and wounds. I have been healed of the fears associated with sexual, physical and emotional abuse. Jesus has given me self-confidence and a good self-image stemming from how HE sees me. Jesus continues to teach me about love through the love He gave me through Steve.

The best thing the Lord has ever done for me, besides saving me, is giving me Steve, my husband. What a GIFT! What a blessing Steve is to me. Steve loves me in the way that every woman wants to be loved. Steve loves ME, the inside me, not what I look like on the outside. God shows me His love through Steve, by forgiving me readily and allowing me, to be.
Without Jesus, I would be living, but I wouldn't be ALIVE.

I have recently been learning how important prayer is. God used prayers prayed in ways we don't even know and most times don't understand. I can pray today for an incident I just heard about that happened days ago, and God will use those prayers. Time is nothing to God. The Bible says that to God, one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like one day. Wow! Time means nothing to Him, only to us. I have learned that if we DON"T pray, it can tie God's hands. I believe there is His will for things and like gravity, some things just happen. But prayer CAN and DOES change what was in plan for us, either planned by God or planned by the enemy. [satan] Prayer is a mighty, mighty thing to do.
Prayer is what 'greases the wheels' so-to-speak. Prayer lays the foundation of things to come. If we don't pray some things won't happen.

Prayer is talking to God, through Jesus Christ. When we pray, we go through Jesus to God. Jesus is the intermediary for us. We believe Jesus was born as God, of a virgin woman, by the Holy Spirit, died for us on the cross at Calvary and was raised from the dead by His Father, God. We have asked Jesus to forgive us of our sins.

I think one of the best things I hear is my husband telling me how much he loves me. That is true of the Lord also. He loves to hear us telling Him how much we love Him. He loves to hear us talking to him, praying. He loves to show us things when we are in prayer. He loves to tell us things. Praying to God is where the rubber meets the road. God sees all things, so it's best to be honest in prayer.

So talk to God, He is right there with you, whether you know it or not. Ask Him to

forgive you of your sins. Tell Him what you have done, He knows it anyway, but He
wants to hear you say it. He is waiting, with open arms and an open heart, just waiting for you to come to Him.
Here is a simple prayer to help you if you need it.
"Father, it's hard to understand this love You have for me, but I accept it Lord. I ask You to forgive my sins, all the wrong things I have done, both knowingly and unknowingly. I ask that You become Lord of my life. I take my 'self' off the throne of my life and put You on it. Please come into my heart and live, in Jesus' name I ask this. Amen"
We all need to repent [be sorry for and turn away from] our sins [wrongdoings] and ask God to forgive us.
