I did not intend to get this far into all this stuff going on in the Christian world. However a couple people found my write-up of the Issachar 'School' DVD of Worship, Sound and Movement and wrote me. One of them told me about Wyatt Roberts blog. So I started reading that. His opinion is on his blog, endtimes blog, truthseekers blog and probably others.

I would love to see what OTHER people think also. So I am now, [8/08] delving into the stuff going on. So far, what I have been able to gather is Todd Bentley is a liar, who has been called on the carpet for not admonishing Paul Cain for being a liar. Maybe he couldn't tell the difference since he was lying? Todd said he lied about God telling him 'if 1000 people give $1000 tonight, they will receive a 1000 fold blessing'. Apparently, according to reports on what Todd said, he said it to get money to build HIS stadium and it was not true. Hmmmm

about the lying going on. BUT, in writing to Wyatt, he does NOT believe that God gives prophetic words to ANYONE 'now'. That is HUGE in how he sees things.

Then there is the reply from Chuck Pierce. The tag is that the prophets are hanging Todd out to dry since he's admitted lying and is getting a divorce. Pray for Shonnah, his wife. SHE needs it. Seems as though most are praying for Todd, not her. Can you imagine being married to someone who said it was GOD that told him to knee someone in the gut?

My question is: WHY didn't Chuck, Robert Heidler, Patricia King, or the SCORES of others RECOGNIZE someone who was not flowing correctly in the Lord?????? These are all 'prophets', but did not, would not, could not, recognize one who wasn't one of their own? NOT ONE questioned all the antics Todd was doing. Todd kneeing the guy in the gut...I will never believe that was God telling him to do that. God is LOVE, He does not operate in ways to hurt people. The video is on youtube if you want to watch it.

Are people so hungry for God they refuse to seek Him out for themselves, but will follow any Tom, Dick or Harry that comes along, shouting with energy but not clarity? I include myself in that mix. Sometimes I get lazy and want the knowledge of what and who God is, handed to me on a DVD. Also is the fact that lots of times I just don't understand the deeeep meanings of the Bible. So that is what a lot of the Pastors are for.

HOWEVER. The Bible says we are to search out our salvation with fear and trembling. That means WE study to know what it is WE believe. Studying the Bible shows ourselves approved of God. [scripture]

About 2 weeks ago, I was driving to the post office and asking God questions about all this prophetic stuff and what is important and what is important to know...you know...questions that float around in your mind when you are not speaking out loud... God said 'love. The most important thing on earth is love. It doesn't matter if you can prophesy, interpret dreams, work miracles. What is important is love. That's what people will take with them to the grave. That is what is lasting'.

Which brought to mind the scripture...'all we are is clanging cymbals if we do not have love'.
