We attended a prophetic conference today, 10/16/04. It was good. It was good to get encouraged again. The last one was January 2004.
I think we should have these on a regular basis, where prophetic people can exercise their giftings and others can be encouraged. The body of Christ needs encouragement to step out into what God has or is, calling them to do. Being prophetic is for everyone born of the Spirit of God. Not everyone will have the mantle of being a Prophet, however everyone can prophesy. There are different kinds of prophets and guess what? They are ALL people! There are those that are named prophets, as in the Bible, there are seers, dreamers, visionaries and there are people the Lord gives a word too for a particular time and/or a particular person. And as the body of Christ is encouraged in the Lord and in their individual walks, we need to take this gift to the people that are not in the church. God wants his people encouraged and his people are everywhere, in every walk of life. Back |
