I am devastated at the outcome of the Arizona election. I think what may have happened is that we, as Christians didn't get the word out. Jon Kyl said it best when Pederson's camp was slinging mud, 'we had to get the word out'. Christians think someone else will do it, or 'it' will get done, but they don't do anything.

In prayer this morning, while crying that Munsil did not get the governorship, I realized I've trusted God for my healing, I've trusted God as my husband, I've trusted God as the 'stop-gap', I've trusted God as my Father, I've trusted God as my Savior, but I've never trusted God as my political leader.

God is the Father of lights.
He alone is King of Kings.
HE is not only my spiritual head,     he is my political head.

God knew this was going to happen. He knows everything.

God knew Pelosi was going to be head of the political house. Only God can change her. Only God has the power and ability to change anyone. Only the Holy Spirit of God, can heal, change, rearrange, re-direct one's innate person.

Only God understands the child within us. He speaks to our blanket-clutching, thumb-sucking need. In spite of our age, our income, our education, or our celebrity, he knows the childhood issue of the maturing heart. This is the ministry that only our Father can give. He can, does and want too, heal the child in all of us.

Only God can make us greater in his eyes than we are in our own. He is our Father and he loves us.

This is a time to pray. All is not lost. I was asking God, 'we've prayed, we've fasted, we've done everything we know. God HOW could you let this happen? What do we do now'? God knows the beginning from the end. God knew how these elections would turn out. He knows what he wants us to learn, what he wants to teach us.

We need to be strong in the Lord and in the power of HIS might. Putting on the whole armor of God.

To walk in peace [shoes], to renew our minds daily by reading his Word [helmet of salvation], to live in purity, with pure thoughts toward others and ourselves [breastplate of righteousness], to not lie, [loins girded with truth], trusting in the Word of God and acting it out in our daily lives [shield of faith]. Placing our faith and trust in the Lord, for HE is our shield AND His Glory is our rear guard.


We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God.

So the answer to 'what do we do now' is…
