Having you as my Father tells me you are there for me. You will protect me and love me. You will descipline me as I need it. You will chastise me when I need it. You will love me always. All the promises are mine, because you are my Father. Everything you say in the Bible is true about me. How I am the apple of your eye, that the cattle on a thousand hills are mine, because they are yours. That healing is mine, because I am yours.

Jeremiah 29:11, that scripture so many people have clung too, the HUGE light bulb for me yesterday...you will not harm me. For soooo long, I've thought of you as I saw you thru the eyes and feelings of my upbringing. Often, I heard you that way also. You told me in August of this year that I wasn't hearing you rightly. I sometimes heard you thru my upbringing. Then you removed yourself and told me to read the Word. I didn't hear from you for over a month. I heard from you from reading the Bible. I've heard others tell this. That they hear you when reading the Word. I didn't understand this then, but I do now.

And just yesterday, you gave me several revelations as I was with Shirley before she left for Bible college.

1. You will NOT harm me.

2. I was thinking while talking to Shirley, that we both were in the military and You have called us both to dance before you. I said to her, 'we were MARCHING in MAN'S army. NOW, we are DANCING in GOD'S Army! Oh God this was such a revelation and the VERY FIRST time, I've had what amounted to goosebumps. Waves of that 'chill' feeling swept over me. LOL So I said to Shirley. 'I'm going to say it again, see if it happens again'. And I did, and it did. I was really thanking Holy Spirit! *laughing* How you are so different, so light, so loving, so, oh it makes me think of that scripture, 'my burden is light and my yoke is easy'. We've gone from combat boots to dancing shoes. Only YOU could have done THAT Father!

3. You will NOT HARM me.

4. You are my FATHER. This was just as I lay in bed thinking of you. I can't find the book by James Robison 'Knowing God as Father'. I KNOW I have it, but with all this moving the house around to make more room for the business, I can't find it. So teach me Lord.

Which is why this page was started.
It's hard sometimes to think of you being proud of me, because, after all, you ARE GOD! But since you are my Father, you are proud of me. You think I'm beautiful. Not just that, but you know I'm beautiful. You see me as beautiful. Oh!! That's why 'they' say, 'God doesn't make junk'. Because we are your creation and you are well pleased! That's also why we are to be joyful in how we look and are made. Because you made us this way.
Oh Lord, right now I feel your hand on me, as if you are washing me, washing over me. Wiping away stuff.

Oh! Oh ! Oh! That's why you have placed husbands over us. Because we adore them so. We kiss their fingers, as I kiss yours. They ARE human, but they give us things that you have ordained for them to give us. Each in their own thing that you have made them to give.
For me with Steve, it's hugs. Wonderful, loving hugs where Steve gets down on his knees while I'm sitting and hugs me. So often Father, you have been doing that with me lately. Hugging me that way. God, I NEVER would have thought you would DO that! Nevertheless, I am seeing you as loving Father to me lately. Forever I'll praise you Father. Renew my mind, renew my thoughts. Wash me clean of old things and put in new wine. Open the eyes of my heart Lord, open my ears and strengthen my inner being.
