You are precisely where you should be, doing precisely what you should be doing,
in precisely the way God wants you to do it.
The only OTHER person I've known was precisely in God's will at any given time,
was myself, this year.
It is GREAT that you do not sloganize our church. 'the church where ____ is' or 'the church with _____' or whatever. [angels are patrolling my back fence, have been for days now] Because if you did put a slogan in, people would start looking for it and if they didn't find it, [or thought they didn't] they would start judging, and the focus would be on the slogan, not God. Let's see, I didn't go to church LAST Sunday [we've been sick] [went yesterday]. I asked hubby what was the message, he gave me splatters of it. Then he said, 'you know, the way he always does things. All the funny things and stuff'. And I knew exactly. One can only give the outline of the message, they can not give the message. Cause God made you to REACH people. And what may seem to you, to be undignified, or unglorified, is, absolutely, God's way of love. The scripture in Zechariah comes to mind re: 'Don't despise the little things'. What YOU think are things, like everyone else is in a suit [and you thinking, 'I won't make that mistake again'] It was NOT a mistake. Those listeners had to get past their ways of thinking, their 'judgements' in so many things and God chose you in jeans to do it. YAY! You were created to bridge the gap. Oh Pastor D!, God has mighty and wonderfullus things for you and the ministry he has given you in the years to come. Do not lose your jeans, do not always replace your jeans with suits.
